The play starts with the Montague and Capulet families fighting one another in the streets of Verona. The brawl begins because Selectthe Prince and Romeothe servantsthe Capulets argue.

Despite their families' conflict, Romeo and Juliet decide to get married. SelectThe NurseMontagueFriar Laurence marries them in secret.
Friar Laurence hopes Romeo and Juliet's marriage will bring Selectan end to the fightingwar between the two familiestheir deaths.
Tybalt demands that Romeo should fight him as he has "dishonoured the Capulet name". Romeo refuses and SelectMercutioParisBenvolio takes his place.
Romeo avenges Mercutio's death by killing Tybalt. The Prince declares that Romeo is to be Selectkilledbanishedimprisoned.
Juliet is heartbroken because of Tybalt's death and Romeo's banishment. In this time of mourning, her father organises Selecta partyher wedding to Parisa house move.
Juliet fakes her death and waits for Romeo in the Capulet tomb. Friar Laurence writes of Juliet's fake death in a letter to Romeo, however, the letter doesn't arrive. Romeo leaves for Verona thinking Juliet is dead and on his way, he buys Selectflowersa daggerpoison.
Romeo drinks the poison and dies. Juliet wakes up and sees Romeo dead and stabs herself with a dagger. As a consequence of their children's deaths, the two families decide to Selectfight each otherhonour their dead childrenhave a party.
