I made my lighting design solution from paper which I folded in a complicated hexagonal pattern. Then I joined the pieces together by sticking the edges carefully with the glue gun to make shapes. I then stuck lots of these together to make my light.
I decided to use paper to make my light as it was easy to fold into hexagonal patterns. It worked well as I was able to stick the shapes together to make the repeating forms I was aiming for, inspired by honeycombs.
